This silver heart necklace features a one-of-a-kind frayed, yet victorious, love talisman...a symbol of love conquering all!
To create this lovely heart, sterling silver is torched until it almost melts, and textured with the application of "fairy dust" (silver filings) for that gritty feel. Shrapnel is created with silver scraps, stamped "Hard Love". The dimensional hollow form pendant and hangs with a hand-forged silver nail, coiled just so to create a bail.
This sturdy heart is supported by a hand-knotted strand of genuine turquoise and yellow quartz, brought together with an off-center hand-forged silver clasp.
Necklace is approx 18"
Pendant measures approx. 1 1/4" wide X 1 1/2" tall including bail.
Hallmarked .925 on the reverse and stamped with my makers mark.
